  1. If you missed three questions you got 11 out of 14. 11 divided by 14 = 0.7852142857142857. That converted into a percent would be 78.5%. That is a C.

  2. 100-90 = A 90-80 = B 80-70 = C If you got three questions you get 11 out of 14 right? 11 divided by 14 is 0.785214285714... If you make that into a percentage it would be 78.5 % and that's a C

  3. Missing 3 questions would give you 11/14. So, 11/14=0.7857142857142857. Then, you convert that into a decimal, 78.5. Getting a C would be right.

  5. He/She missed 3 questions. So 11/14. But 11 divided by 14 equals 0.7857142857142857. Then the percentage will be 78.5%. So yes the kid does get a C.

  6. The Person that got 11/14 got a C because 11÷14=0.785714286 made into a percentage it's 78.5% and the grading is something like this: F is 0%-50%, D is 50%-70%, C is 70%-80%(she got 78.5% so then that person gets a C), B is 80%-90% and A is 90%-100% . So that's why she got a C.

  10. This person got 11/14 & got a C. This is because 11 divided by 14 is 0.785714286. That converted into a decimal and shortened is 78.5. That is a C.

  11. If he/she missed 3 questions out of 14 they would get 11. So, 11 divided by 14 is 0.78571429, multiplied by 100 equals 78.5%. 78.5% is lower than 80 and higher than 70 so they get C.

  13. The person missed 3 questions out of 14 so he/she would get 11. If you divided 11 by 14 you get 0.7851429. Multiply the quotient by 100 to get the percentage which is 78.5%.he/she get a C because 78.5% is in the bracket of 70 to 80%.

  14. That student made 3 errors out of 14 questions and it's right that he/she gets a C. Why? The "C" grade equals to 60-70% out of 100%. The errors that that student made are 100-60=40% or 100-70=30%. 3(equivalent marks) divided by 14 equals to 0.3. Let's assume that the 3 numbers where they committed that mistake is worth 2 marks each. So, 2x3=6. That student made 6 errors and 8 right marks. Divide 8 with the total of all the questions which is 14 and you'll get 0.57 or in percentage 57%. Let's just say that the 3 errors are worth 1.5 marks each. 1.5x3=4.5 marks. The number of questions they got right are 9.5 (14.0-4.5=9.5). 9.5 divided by 14 is 0.67 or in percentage 67%. Like I said, the "C" grade is 60-70% and 67 isn't pass 70 so it's right that they got a C. Therefore, the 3 numbers must have been equivalent to 1.5 marks each.

  16. To get the answer you have to know what he/she got and that is 11 out of 14. Now first you have to divide 11 to 14 and so you get the answer of 0.78571429. Multiply the number by 100 and the product is 78.571429. If want round off to te nearest tenth and now you get the percentage of 78.6%. 78.6% is a C because it is more than 70 but less than 80.

  18. The person that got 11/14 gets a C because 11 divided by 14=0.785714286. Made into a percentage its 78.5% and the grading is this: F is 0%-50%, D is 50%-70%, C is 70%-80% B is 80%-90% and A is 90%-100%. So that's why they got a C

  19. The kid got a C for a reason. For this problem, you should use a T-chart. Place the number 100 on the % side and place 14 on the # side. Now, divide 100 by 14 (Oh, and do it on the # side too) and you should get 7.14285 (it's repeating). Then multiply the quotient by 11 and you should get 78.5714285. Now round it up to the nearest tenth and the final answer should be 78.6! Reply if your confused..
